Mandala Turtle 3D Craft

Step 1: Cut a Circle and Radius

This paper turtle craft is very easy for young children.
Start by cutting a circle from green paper.
Now make one straight cut from the edge to the center of the circle (this is the radius).

Step 2: Apply Glue

Using a glue stick, apply glue on one side of the cut radius.

Step 3: Make a Cone (Shell)

Overlap the other side of the cut onto the glued side and paste it to form a cone shape.
This cone will be the turtle shell.

Step 4: Make the Turtle Head

On green paper, draw a thumb-shaped figure using a pencil and cut it out.

Step 5: Cut the Curve

Make a small curved cut on one side of the head shape.

Step 6: Overlap and Paste

Apply glue on one side of the cut and overlap the other side to give the face a slight 3D shape.

Step 7: Make the Eyes

Paste googly eyes on the front of the turtle’s face.


Step 8: Draw the Mouth

Using a black sketch pen, draw a cute smile on the turtle’s face.

Step 9: Paste the Face

Paste the turtle’s face below the cone, at the front.

Step 10: Make the Tail

Cut a small triangle from green paper and paste it at the back of the cone.

Step 11: Make the Legs

Cut out four small leg shapes from green paper.

Step 12: Paste the Legs

Paste two legs on each side under the cone.

Step 13: Decorate the Shell

Decorate the turtle shell by pasting small hexagon shapes randomly on the cone using glue.
